Harley 25937-99B Twin Cam SE-203 Camshafts 1999-2006 Assembly with Oil Pump EXC
Complete assembly with SEH-203 cams, mounting plate, oil pump (aligned to plate), sprockets, cam sprocket spacer, chains, tensioners, bearings, hardware, and fasteners as shown. Removed from a running early-2000s engine with low miles. Unknown mileage but tensioner shoe wear suggests a nearly new engine.
All cam and bearing surfaces are good, and have all been closely inspected. The oil pump was removed, inspected, and re-packed with assembly lube, and the oil pump assembly was re-installed properly to the camplate with alignment pins then bolts with locktite torqued to spec.
These parts were removed and handled very carefully by an experienced engine mechanic, this is not a hack job. Screamin' Eagle SE-203 cam kit is part #25937-99B.Both chain tensioners are pinned to relax tension for easy installation. Really nothing else is required for installation if done by opening the cam chest and rocker box covers as those gaskets can typically be re-used, although a set of adjustable pushrods i. Screamin' Eagle #17997-99A can make the job a bit quicker.
Please also note for installation, the (6) camplate to camchest mounting bolts #4741A and (2) small o-rings #11303 between the camplate and camchest would be re-used. Sprocket retention kit #25566-06 fastens the gears to the crankshaft and primary camshaft (included). It is also good practice to replace the oil pump inlet o-ring #11293 instead of re-using the original (this new yellow colored o-ring is included as shown). Some'99 models may require oil control kit #94667-00.Although the original (#317) gear spacer is included, for all installations, the proper gear alignment will need to be verified per the service manual procedure as this is based on each individual engine's specific crankshaft geometry and adjusted using gear spacer kit #25938-00 if necessary. This is a very nice setup for a stock TC-88 engine that will bolt right in with no special tools or tuning and should last for tens of thousands of miles.
